Briggs World Formula

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHANGE VALVE SPRINGS

Your Briggs World Formula has Dual Valve Springs and should last you an entire season.

Many of Our Customers run the same Valve Springs for the entire season with good results.

SHOULD I USE A AIR FILTER

Definitely !!!!, for two reasons. One, it will prevent dust and dirt from entering your Racing Motor

and causing unnecessary wear on internal parts of the motor.

Secondly, your motor will make more horsepower with a Clean Air Filter.

NOW WHAT DO I DO

Your motor is shipped "WITH NO OIL" in the crankcase or the gear box. A Good Snythetic Oil is

Recommended. Many of our customers are using Mobil 1 5w30 with Excellent Results.

Fast Times, New Track Records and Winning

Grand National Events using Mobil 1 in their motors.

AT THE RACE TRACK

Always warm your motor before running on the track, This will ensure proper clearences

are attained before you run the motor under full power.

ABOUT DATA SHEETS

The console data is printed in graph form and it is indicating how much horsepower and torque

your motor is developing at a given rpm. This information is very useful in determining what

gear ratio to use to obtain the best lap times. Your highest rpm should be above 6900 rpm's,

but not bumping the rev limiter on the straight away or on corner entry. These rpm's shold

help your gearing to achieve the best lap times.
